Three Cups Of Tea Post

Yes I could make sacrifices like that. If I was older and out of school and I read this book I would donate a lot of time and money so that these children could go to school. If I was in Greg's position where he was sleeping in his car and selling all of his things than I would never give up. Greg would leave Amira and Tara for months at a time, but other times he would live with them for a day, leave, come back for 3 days and then leave again for presenting at schools and other places. My own father leaves for 4 days out of each month to go down to North Carolina for his work but it would be nothing like what Amira has to go through. If I had to make sacrifices so that children could go so school and get at least a elementary school education, I would do whatever it took.

  1. I like that you pointed out the importance of age i agree if I was older and read this I too would donate money because of how far school got me. Mentioning how you would feel if you were greg was really good to because I agree if I had scarificed all my personal items and thing necessary for life I would never give up.

  2. I agree It would be hard to sleep in your car and sell all your stuff but like you said if it's for children in other countries to be able to go to school then I think I could adjust to the change.

  3. I agree with you Ben on donating money. I think this would be a really good cause to donate to, and although I don't think I will pursue this as my career in life, I would try and do my part to help the CAI when I could.
